ASSESSMENT PART 1: THE STAIR CONCEPT MODEL

All,

As discussed during today's design studio, it should be very clear in the course blog and course outline about what needs to be uploaded to your blog.

Just a reminder to make sure you complete the tasks below and upload to the blog by Sunday 01/03/2020 (Due 23:59):

The Stair Concept Model (Refer to Week 02):

• Maximum 5 images of 3d stairs (include 2d people) + minimum 2 sections
• Short Statement describing concept (50 to 60 word)

Experiment 1 (Progress Work):

• Pre-Week 01 (Refer to Before the first class)
• 3 images + descriptions
• Week 01 (Refer to Week 01)
• 3 clients + 3 words each
• 18 sections (based on the 2 selected clients)
• 2 images of progress 3d model + 2 words + material selection
• Week 02 (Refer to Week 02)
• 8 sections (4 stairs design/ 2 sections per stair)
• The stair concept model submission

Note - Assessment part 1 will be marked based on 1) Distinctiveness (uniqueness/ specialness/ merit/ etc) and 2) Significance (scale/ functionality/ materiality/ etc) of "The Stair Concept Model". Please keep in mind that Experiment 1 (Progress Work) will form part of Assessment part 2 and also be considered in Assessment part 1 as part of the concept design development.
